Bad Charlie

all ready for paint... or I thought it was untill Steve pointed out that the right hand pipes are lower than the left.. ( off the shelf drags.. they must be made like that for some clearance issues on a stock bike.. maybe) so now I have to cut them and make them higher.. or avoid right hand turns.

Neil

Just sent me this pic from about 9 years ago outside one of my old shops in Shitsville, instead of   a Snap On man we had a skagbag that used to come round selling stolen tools. If you left anything made of metal outside for more than 5 minutes the pikeys would steal it and weigh it in. I don't miss that place. I like the my pan with those forks in.

Verona

This pretty much sums up my memories of Verona last weekend. this was the first night we got there. Someone told me there was a show with motorcycles and stuff but can't recall that bit. Thanks to Zip, Guy, Pat, the Sideburn lads, Con and Matt for a great night. I still have no idea what we were drinking but it glowed in the dark and had fruit in.

help me

who has got loads of early issues of Back Street Heroes magazine?

I'm looking for a picture that was in there... long shot? I'm guessing it was early nineties and the bike in question was ( I think!) a Honda 400-4. it was a double page spread but not a full feature.. not many words. It was a studio shot as opposed to a photo of someone at a rally.

the bike was a black digger esque bike with a prismic tank and strutted rear end, it looked like a real budget bike done mostly in black and may have had a mini ness style stretched front frame section. pretty positive it had tele forks on it and a 21' front wheel and drag pipes... possibly in black.

There was a beardy hippy looking chap with glasses sitting on it and the thing I remember was the back ground of the photo was an artists impression of a blood splattered white wall or similar.. lots of big red splodges on a white back ground.sort of cartoony style  the picture had a title like 'horror show'  or maybe 'horror house' or something along them lines.

of course this may have all been a dream but I'm pretty certain it did exist, please someone put me out my misery, find it, scan it and email it to me at boneshakerchoppers@hotmail.co.uk

Thanks!!!

The Black Douglas Motorcycle Co.

So the little prototype bike I built is now to it's way to Italy where Fabio and Fabrizio will  be building these bikes to order and  the bikes will be available as a production motorcycle. This model is called 'Sunday Morning' and will be available in both Milan and the U.K. If you want to have a close look at this bike it will be on show at the Verona Bike Expo for the 20-22nd of Jan along with two other models they have been working on. The website is still under construction but there will be more info about the bikes going up soon. Have a look http://theblackdouglasmotorcycles.com/index.asp if any of my cyberfriends in Blog land can repost the site I'd greatly appreciate it. cheers

Sideburn

Ben and Gary came to visit to photograph the Sunday Morning bike I have just finished for a feature in their mag, very chuffed to have one of my bikes in Sideburn. I also took them to my new place to show them some other stuff I've been working on and Ben took these pics of me on my Honda, I think he has a secret craving for a digger... Great blokes and good to see you both.  http://sideburnmag.blogspot.com/
